John Williams is definitely one of Hollywood’s most famous film composers. Born in 1932, he made his first experiences with film music as a pianist in the big Hollywood orchestras. Later on he created symphonic soundtracks for STAR WARS, INDIANA JONES, JURASSIC PARK and other blockbusters, which became extremely famous.
The FilmmusicConcert TRIBUTE TO JOHN WILLIAMS combines unforgettable compositions by John Williams – such as E.T., SCHINDLERS LIST, JFK, HARRY POTTER and STAR WARS – with information about William’s biography and the film history of Hollywood.
The presentation complements the musical experience by combining interesting anecdotes with filmhistorical information in an enjoyable and amusing way. In guiding through the programme the presenter manages to build ‘a bridge’ between the music and the audience.
