Lonesome cowboys riding through the prairie, eager to fight for justice and against the evil - this is what western movies are made of. One of the oldest and most popular genres in film history generated unforgettable heroes as well as great scores.
This film music concert features world-famous compositions by Dimitri Tiomkin, Ennio Morricone, Bruce Broughton and others and reminds the audience of great moments in western history: Charles Bronson's well-known harmonica melody, the guiding theme for his revenge in ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST, Kevin Costner in DANCES WITH WOLVES, and, of course, THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN.
To complete the musical experience, you can also order a text for the presentation, which combines interesting anecdotes with film historical information in an enjoyable and amusing way. In guiding through the programme the presenter manages to build ‘a bridge’ between the music and the audience.
